MVPS will be uses an SMS system to advise parents of unexplained absences. The aim of using this system is to follow up unexplained absences on the day of absence and reduce the number of absentee letters sent out to parents.
Simply send a text message to 0447 967 006 with the following information: Student full name/reason for absence/absence date.
If your child is absent and you have not contacted the school
A text message will be sent at 10am each day to parents of students who are absent with no explanation. Parents are asked to respond to this text with the following information – Student full name/reason for absence/absence date
If you know your child will be absent on a future date.
This text system can also be used to advise the school of future absences for your child.
